UVEAT is a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program initiative of UAI established to provide rescue assistance to residents of Olongapo, Subic, and Bataan during emergency situations usually brought about by typhoons, floods, and other natural calamities.
UVEAT is comprised of 42 brave UAI employees who have selflessly volunteered and committed to help the community in times of emergency.
UVEAT kicked off its certified training with Basic Life Support and First Aid (inset photo) conducted by the Olongapo Disaster and Risk Reduction Management team (ODRRM) which will enable UVEAT volunteers to provide basic medical aid, basic CPR, proper bandaging of injuries, proper evacuation of victims and casualties, emergency care and safety.
The UVEAT program is an opportunity for UAI and its employees to “pay it forward” by serving the community in difficult and trying times.
